GWS Compact Electric Power System

The new 350 motor is the same series as in the EPS-300C (Mabuchi RK-
370), but is a higher Kv motor with timing set for the GWS offset
gearbox. This means that it is best suited to the B to D ratios, which
reduce load enough to turn 8 to 10 props. For the lower ratio boxes
(types 2 to A) the EPS-300C may work better, especially for 280-class
models running at 4-5A.

Weve been running the EPS-350-C in the GWS warbirds, and have
found that the 10x6 and 10x8 props work very well with E-Tec 1200mAh
2S pack. With the 10x8, the Mustang does loooong knife-edge flight!!
Stay within 8.4A when using the 2S pack, or go with the 1200-2S2P
(2400mAh) for very long flights at 9A+ with no strain on the pack.

The EPS-350C should be limited to about 9.5A for long service life.
Exceeding 10A gains little power in exchange for the increased drain on
your battery. The motors provide best efficiency at 6 to 8 amps.

Also note that the thrust figures below dont tell the whole story.
Except, perhaps, for indoor 3D models, airplanes fly on speed. One
propeller and gearing combination may provide tremendous thrust, but
be unable to fly your model for lack of speed. The higher pitched props
below may show less thrust, but remember that you may need the
speed they provide in exchange.
